Hello, since this is my first post on these boards, I would like to tell ya a little history of my programming background. I am taking a class which focuses on VB2005, it dosent really get too into the language the class only lasts half of the year , so I am a bit of a n00b, but... anyways I am trying to create a contact list program, and I am having trouble with the database part of it, I am trying to integrate it with an Access Database... If possible I am trying to add a picture box thing also... If there any very N00bish tutorials how to do this? Thanks In advance!

Is there any way I can use a "custom" database, without using access? Like saving the database attachment with a different extension? Thanks alot!
