Thread: App. crashes on target PC but works on development PC

Hello all, my first post here.

Basic description:
I have done a logbook software that takes info from a UDP string and manual input from the user and saves it in a database and shows it in a datagridview, the user can also export all or just some of the logbook to excel.

Problem:
The logbook works perfect on the development machine but as soon as I publish it and install it on the target machine some errors pops up.

The development machine has Visual Studio 2010 ultimate, Microsoft Excel and Access 2010 (and other office products) and .Net 4 full installed

Have you included all dependent files, including the database in the install? Have you used absolute file paths in file loading/reading routines?

Yes I have, but you pointed me in the right direction.
there was a ref. to its own exe file (an earlier version) that the database Queries was dependented on, I removed that ref. and rewrote the code.. works fine now.
