Exclamation Crystal Report for Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition

Hello Friends,

I am having Visual Studio 2008 Standard Edition and using VB.NET as my preferred language. But there is no option to insert crystal report in it. I found on google that Crystal report is not installed with Standard Edition, so is there any way that i can install it or i should have to move again to VS 2005 Professional Edition.

Default Crystal

Hi there,

As far as I know there's no way to add reports directly into the Standard edition. It may be worth looking at upgrading to the Professional edition if it's something you think you need. If you search on eBay of all places you'll find a new, genuine copy of VS2008 Pro for a normal price.

I'm trying to get to grips with it but it definitely seems to be a useful addition.

Good luck
