    Unhappy Report Viewer installation

    I am working on Visual Studio 2008, i want to use Report Viewer for my database for printing, but i am not finding it in my installer, i went to project menu and tried to add the report viewer but there is not my required tool. what should i do?

    If you need to add the items to your toolbox manually, they are in assemblies named Microsoft.ReportView.Winforms and .WebForms.

    i installed both report viewer and .net framework 2.0, but unfortunately, there is not any report viewer tool appeared in project menu from add item, what should i do?

    You don't add them to the project as items. They are controls that you add to forms, just like TextBoxes.

    Dear Sir, When i will see the Report Viewer control available, then i will add them like textboxes.

    You have to add them to the Toolbox first, then you can add them from the Toolbox to a form.
