Thread: Default Oracle Client

Dear All

I developed a vb.net windows app and its running properly on the machines having one oracle home ( either Oracle 9 or Oracle 10g )

But when I run it on a machine that has more than one Oracle Home: I got the error: system.data.oracleclient requires oracle client 8.1.7 or greater

I did a search on How to set a default oracle home and I read about Home Selector.
I am trying to download it, but any other ideas on how to solve the issue?

I found the solution and the application is working fine
I used : Oracle Locator Express to switch between Oracle homes
