Hi

First of all, Hi to everyone, as I'm new here....

I am currently investigation programming an app to monitor the system for the attempt to install applications and prevent certain applications from installing but as default allow all other applications (i.e. using a blacklist).

I am a bit puzzled as to where to start with this? How could I identify a installation being started and how could I identify individual installations? Any ideas appreciated....
