Default Open source developpement

Hey,

I'm looking for a place where I can share my open source code and contribute to other projects. Can anyone recommend me a site/community where there is lots of support and enthusiasm for open source?

(I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, if not, please move this topic )

Cheers
BN

Hello.

SourceForge.net: Open Source Software - THE Open Source Project Hosting Site
CodePlex - Open Source Project Hosting - Another OpenSource Site from Microsoft (as far as I know)
CodeProject. Free source code and programming help - More orientated around Articles then actual Projects but still great
Google Code - Google Hosting Site
Free open source project hosting - Gitorious

Also Open Source Project Hosting - Google-Suche

Bobby

Planet Source Code is not collaboration oriented, but if you're looking to share smaller code/projects (or articles) and see how it is received by public by rating system, or just want to share something you think adds value, then this and similar places could be an alternative to the open source sites mentioned. PSC is more similar to Code Project only much less oriented on writing articles. Years ago I studied a lot of submitted projects from that site to "learn by examples" and get ideas, my impression of the general technical level then was much lower compared to what went on at Code Project, which is a good thing for beginners/intermediates.
