Hello,
I am trying to install VS 2005 on a laptop. The laptop is currently running VS 2003, and needs to continue. My OS is WinXP Pro.
I get the error:
Error 1305.Error reading from file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bootstrapper\Packages\InstMSI\instmsiW.exe. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.
I am able to browse to this file and verify that it is there. I have installed on a desktop with this media to prove the CD's are OK. I went to Add/Remove and Program Files, don't think there is any other install of 2005. There is of 2003.
What should I do?
