A while ago I found a library called AlterNET Studio that allows you to create an IDE using VB .net but the documentation is very confusing and the example codes are also very confusing and the library is paid, does anyone know any alternative or can at least understand the documentation for this thing?

I just had a brief look at the AlterNET documentation and it seems pretty standard to me. Given what it is, I would expect that the documentation has not been written with beginner developers in mind. We'd have to know what specific issues you're having in order to help, because we're not going to provide a simplified explanation of the entire documentation.

The difficulty I was having was how to use components like FormDesginer, which does not have a code example that is well commented.

But I'll try to read it again more carefully to see if I can understand it better.
