Deploying MSDE (any issues?)

Hey all,

This a just a general question, I've created a database app which is going to require MSDE to be deployed. I intend to have a go with the MSDE Deployment Toolkit. I have no specific problem yet, but would like to know if anyone has done this before and could point out any Jagged Rocks in the shallows before I hit them with full force.

Any help / ideas / links to resources regarding setting up the database itself after msde installation would also be greatly appreciated.

Also, while VB6 does require other files, they are not compiled with the application. The extra files (more than likely the VB6 runtime files) still need to be installed on the target machine

Please don't resurrect threads that are over nine years old without a very good reason. Noone uses MSDE any more and this forum is VB.NET-specific, so any talk of VB6 is irrelevant.
