I love it when you go to the Microsoft Home Page, click the Developer link on the left side menu and get redirected to the MSN home page! Brilliant!

? I click the only developer link there (Developer Tools) and get to msdn2 - and that should be all OK ?

Typically it does! I think if your Passport/Live ID expires, it shoots you over to MSN's site.

Well, I see that the main menu link is a http://g.msn.com/... redirect link with http://msdn.microsoft.com/... as a parameter now, so there must be some intermediate processing and further redirect from that. I don't know if it's connected with any account checking.. Since all their main menu links follows the same formula I would think at least for some redirects a language check is done to get you to international sites.

Beats me...I get directed to the MSDN site just fine.... logged in or not....

Maybe it was one of those 5 minute flukes that happen.

Nope, been happening for months, off and on, ever since they started the MSDN2 site.
