Less forum topics please?

Is there an option to browse the contents of this site without having to pick one of the myriad of forums? Being a beginner, I'd love to have one large forum to casually read through.

Can you see the main menu? "New Posts" lists all your unread threads from latest and back, "Quick Links" > "Todays Posts" lists all active threads past 24 hours.
