I am trying to run my home computer as a website and it's ticking me off. Honestly, I can program windows well but this web programming and hosting is kicking my tail. I want to use IIS to run my website and the program No Ip to point my DNS to a non static IP address. The No Ip program is easy and I have it working. Basically; I have the site working to where I can type the DNS in my webbrowser and reach it from my computer(the one hosting the website) but none or my friends can reach it from their computers.

Please help :)

Problem Solved

I have solved the problem. I had to make sure my firewalls inside Windows was configured to except port 80 (my website) and the firewall within my router was configured to except the same. Now all is fine.

Can you please provide me steps invloved in setting up the personal website at home? I have WindowsXP Professional, Cable modem and a router. Any kind of help is much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.
