Hi, as my core reference i use Programming Microsoft Visual Basic : 2005 [The Language]. Now that the Framework 3.5 and visual basic 2008 are released, should i keep on using this book ? or should i update to another recently released book... ?

2005/.Net 2.0 knowledge is good for most matters also in 2008/.Net 3.5.
.Net 2.0 is the base class library (BCL) plus Winforms, ASP.Net and ADO.Net libraries. (refer Wiki overview)
Check this link about new language features: Overview of Visual Basic 9.0 and What's New in the .NET Framework Version 3.5.
With VB 2008 you can also develop WPF applications which is something new and resembles ASP.Net development, some links about this:
