Question best way to resize image to a certain filesize

Hello all,

I'm searching for a way to resize images to, let's say for example, 500kb.
Is there a way to let VB resize the image so that it results in a 500kb file?

I see that some programs can to this, but I could not find any info on the internet how I can do this myself with vb.

I hope someone can help me.
