Well, i had vb.net 2003 installed once before, but then i switched my hd and the drive letters got screwed up. this was before i knew that you could change them, so i deleted the vb.net folder inside of programs. well, i thought that i could just reinstall it from the disc. when i get to the screen which says "add or remove features" , Repair/reinstall" , and Uninstall, it will start, and go to the validating install order, but then go to the Setup failed and when i click on view error log, it says that it canot find it. i have tried to do everything, including reinstalling prerequisites, and installing vb 6.0. to see if i could reconfigure the files to the state that they were in before. i am ready to shave my head and become a monk....
