Question Has de gridview insert???

I am starting to work with the gridview and I realize it is very useful., altough I didnt find the way to insert a record tough the sqldatasource than i am using inn the dataset type, does accept the insert.Do I have to program the insert by code?? I dont think so, after seeing how many thing u can do with the gridview but only see command button for edit, select and delete. Can someone help me???

well in the gridview view, there is AutoInsertButton = true
you have to do that, then also you have to specify the insert="sqlcommand" in the slqdatasource. and i guess you will be set
