For those of you that have interaction with customers via sales, support, etc., what do you use to efficiently handle your day to day communications and operations?

Once upon a time we used a system called "AnswerTrack" which essentially worked via e-mail. It has a nice system for assigning correspondence to "agents" (staff) but for others to see what is going on it was a bit cumbersome, or for a manager to oversee the communications, it was tough to do.

We sinced moved to Kayako SupportSuite. It's a PHP solution and poorly supported, although it works pretty good. It has cut our support time down ten fold, easily, but it has its issues as well.

What "Help Desk" solutions are out there and are there any "good" ones made in .NET yet? I've seen a few out there, but they don't really compare to Kayako, from what I could tell.

Share how you or your business manages its customer interaction and what systems you feel work, or don't work.
