INstalling VS.NET Pro & SQL Express

HI, I need some serious advice as to the best way/order to setup my laptop.

I have uninstalled everything due to collation problems and used a hammer to crack a nut.

I have VS.NET 2005 Pro and I also have SQLEXPR_ADV.EXE from MS which is the SQL Express Advanced setup file.

Now from what I remember VS.NET 2005 Pro installs SQL Express (without I think allowing me to change the default collation).

So should I manually install .NET Framework 2.0

Run SQLEXPR_ADV.EXE

Install VS.NET 2005 Pro

or .........erm how or what as I'm not sure?

install vs2005 pro.. it will install anything it needs as a pre-req, and then you can do a Custom setup to add or remove bits you do/dont want
