Question Installing VS2008

Can anyone help, when i try to install VS2008, i get this error msg.

Some components must be installed in directory. Check that you have write permisions and enough space in that directory.
I have permisions and space.

Sorry i haven't checked this post in a long time, It is professional. After a day or two of research i found that VS.Net (all versions) have a problem when being installed on PC with a partitioned a HDD, so I went the hard route, and just formatted my HDD..

That makes no sense whatsoever

I have an HDD with 3 partitions on it and all versions of VS that I have (6, 2003, 2005, 2008) installed just fine.

Do a search on google, you'll find a lot of people who have had the same problem as me.
