.NET SharePoint programming

I need to know something. I have seen a lot of job offer of .NET SharePoint Developer
what do you think about it? Do you think .NET SharePoint programming has future ? or do you think that is going to disappear? is it a fashion programming ?

I don't see Sharepoint itself going anywhere and I don't see .NET itself going anywhere, so I suspect the need to use one on the other will be around for a while yet.
