read/write xml/ini file

Hi any one can help in writing xml or INI file? i need a program that allows user to type in choices in a text box. things inserted by the textbox will then be stored and then bind into a combo box. So everytime whenevner the application starts, the xml or ini file will call the values and bind it into the combo box. ini or xml file is needed as the options to be bind into the combo box, users are allowed to change items in combo it whenever thy need it

Any one can help in writin such codes? vb.net compact framework 2.0 visual studio 2005
