I think it is great that the RSS feed of this site uses categories, the forum name is published in this node 
The RSS reader I currently use includes automatic category based view filters, but only 3 out of my 12 currently subscribed feeds has categories, more could benefit from this as I see it.
Btw, this is the RSS feed url I've been using for a long time: Visual Basic .NET Forums but I can't find this url anywhere on site now, I think I found it at bottom of page then, but now the link is gone?
Also the other systems here to view new posts is very good, including clicking "User CP" on main menu to see updated threads I'm subscribed to, and the main menu options "New posts" and "Quick links > Today's posts". I use all these for various cases of keeping up to date on what's new.
