Question Adding VLC into my program

Is there any way I can add VLC activex into myprogram so that the user doesnt have to have VLC installed to run it, and also if VLC is installed on the machine then it will still use the VLC version that I've attached to the program folder?

Is there a VLC activeX? Anyway, I suggest you ask the people who know. VLC is open source and there is a strong developers community. VideoLAN - VLC: Official site - Free multimedia solutions for all OS!
