Question Chart Control

Hello, I just started working with AxMsChart Control in VB.Net. I successfully plotted a line graph but i am not satisfied with the fineness of line.
Is there a way to refine the look of line or any other control in .net2008 that offers more features and flexibility as compared to AxMsChart Control ??

"AxMsChart" is a very old activex component, much newer components exists, exactly how fine they are I'm not sure.
