Question Forms gone?

Using VB.net 2010 Express Edition

I am creating a inherited form from a parent and when I work on it for a while everything is fine. When I save and close and come back later all of a sudden all the forms that are inherited from the parent are whited out. Unable to drag controls onto the form. If I change the inherits back to the system form it comes back so I can view it but of course all the inherited changes are gone.

Am I missing something or did something wrong. This a bug in 2010 Express?

Has anyone seen this problem?

I've seen similar 'whiting' bug with regular forms in VB 2010 Express. Switching views and/or close/reopen the designer view resolved that, perhaps I also tried rebuilding Just happened a few times, but I haven't used 2010 much yet either. If it should be common and happen frequently we probably have to live with it until a service pack. I never saw that in previous versions, let's hope it's just some infrequent glitch.
