Is there a way how to to password protect my VB.NET project in Visual Studio 2005?

managed code can indeed be disassembled,however Java byte code can also be decompiled ,Even standard Win32 applications can be readily disassembled by various utilities.
so How world developer can be safe from those crackers ?!
