Saving DropDownList Values from a Datagrid

Hello. I have a dropdownlist embedded in an itemtemplate column within a datagrid. I can populate the dropdownlist from a database.

What I would like to do would be to save the values from the dropdownlist to each record in the datagrid.

Any ideas?
